Hello GFWC West Virginia Sisters,

First I want to share the link for Giving Day. It will take you directly to the GFWC West Virginia page. I have tested this link. Will you please take a minute to test it before Tuesday, May 4th, and contact me if you have any issues. Please share this link with club membership, on club Facebook Pages, in newsletters, and any other way you share information with members and friends of GFWC. Give Local MOV begins at 12:01 AM on Tuesday so if you are up past midnight on Monday night you can start donating then. I have exciting news to share with you! This Give Local MOV giving day, Tuesday, May 4th, we will receive a 1:1 match on the first $2,000.00 we raise. WOW, that is an increase from the first $1,200.00 match we were eligible to receive a few years back. I understand that this has been a difficult year for clubs due to COVID. We have had to get creative in order to meet safely, our normal level of volunteer support to our communities has been more difficult and fundraising has been harder as well. Last year it was very exciting to earn $1,700.00 in what I like to call "free money". We can guarantee the $2,000.00 match by raising $2,000.00 in donations. I am confident that we can do it because every year our generous members, clubs, and other donors come through for GFWC. Thank you all for everything you do for your communities. Thank you for your past support of the GFWC WV Support Fund! Yours in Federation, Cathi Wermter, GFWC WV Support Fund Chair 614-668-7701 text or voice
